Is the free letter enough?
Often, yes: a well-founded claim with the right articles and the right deadline is enough to unlock a refund. Premium matters when the merchant drags on — the follow-up letter invokes the 10% uplift under article L241-4, plus tight deadline tracking.
What if the merchant still ignores you?
Consumer mediation is free (article L612-2). Your timestamped letters and deadlines are exactly the case file a mediator expects.
